今年Boris脫離當代美國三大另類metal廠之一Southern Lord(另外兩個是Hydra Head跟 Tee Pee)之後，已經發行了兩張專輯。第一張是跟他們的變態狂老友秋田昌美a.k.a.Merzbow合作的第六張專輯Klatter，交由一向以製作精良著稱的Daymare作1000張限量(又限量喔... 不過壓太多也賣不完啦，我猜現在都還買得到)發行。
第二張entitle "New Album" - 實在有夠無聊的專輯名稱，不知道他們是不是用一堆3M便利貼把整間錄音室黏得黃黃綠綠的，然後Takeshi有一天突然歇斯底里的把全部的紙條都揉爛，並對Atsuo和Wata說「幹！新專輯就叫新專輯不就好了！」，另外兩人除了答應(Takeshi最痛恨別人要他冷靜了)，好像也沒有其他的辦法。
不知道我沒有記錯，一個朋友曾說過以前SLR官網設有討論板，Pink在美國爆紅之後都會有硬派鄉民(我猜她也算是硬派的那類，因為她最討厭的Boris專輯就是Pink)上去發戰文，六年過了，回顧Boris的main releases大概是以Drone X Doom X Hardcore X Noise四個想法(及其衍伸)當作構圖基礎，一直到smile都還支持他們的聽眾，想必已相當熟悉了吧？或許正因為這種熟悉，新專輯取作" New Album "才建立出一種「有點解的暗示」吧。
